From 8 June 2020, it is possible to enrol at the Pontifical Lateran University through the page: Enrolment
When entering the data, it will be required to attach the following documents in pdf format (documents in bold are compulsory):
Italian students
- Photocopy of a valid identifying document
- Passport size photograph (maximum format required)
- Letter of presentation from the parish priest of residence (if a lay person), from the Bishop (if ecclesiastical), from the Superior (if religious)
- Fiscal Code
- Secondary School certificate
- Certification of previous university studies (supplement certificate)
- Certification proving proficiency in 2 foreign languages
Non-Italian students
– Photocopy of a valid identifying document/passport (valid for at least two years)
- Passport size photograph (maximum format required)
- Letter of presentation from the parish priest of residence (if a lay person), from the Bishop (if ecclesiastical), from the Superior (if religious)
- University entrance certificate (with declaration of authenticity issued by the Italian consular authorities in the country of origin)
- Certification of proficiency in a foreign language (besides the mother tongue)
- Certification of proficiency in Italian language
- Certification of previous university studies (supplement certificate)
If the student encounters any difficulty in entering data or documents, he\she can contact the Orientation Service through the e-mail orientamento@pul.it.
The student will receive by email a file number confirming the online registration, and will then be contacted to fix an appointment with the Dean/Principal/Delegate for the preparation of the study programme.
Once the study programme has been signed, the student will receive from the Student Secretariat, an indication regarding the method of payment and the amount established for the enrolment fee.
As soon as the student receives the payment receipt, the Student Secretariat Office will, after having verified the correctness of the execution of the entire enrolment procedure, assign the student with a registration number.
RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION – 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR
The student who must renew the enrolment can do so by means of the website: Registration
If it is necessary to modify the study programme approved at the time of enrolment, the student can contact the Secretariats of the Faculty/Institutes/Cycles of Study to fix an appointment with the Deans/Principals/Delegates respectively.

SUCCESSIVE CYCLE – 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR
The student who, after completing a study cycle, and will continue with the enrolment for the succeeding cycle, can contact the Secretariats of the Faculty/Institutes/Cycles of Study to fix an appointment with the Deans/Principals/Delegates respectively.
