This service is aimed to those wishing to find out more about the Pontifical Lateran University. In the following pages, you will find in information on our Faculties and Institutes, and there particular teaching conditions. We pride ourselves, for example, on a favorable teacher-student ratio, the personalisation of the student-teacher relationship through tutoring, easy access to the General Library and to the new satellite libraries with special workstation reserved for doctoral students, open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 6,30 p.m., computer and multimedia rooms with Internet link, a university bookshop on campus, photo-copy center on campus, campus dining hall offering special prices for teachers and students, and other services aiming to improving the quality of student life. In our University it is also possible to meet students and teachers coming from all continents: in fact the 4.000 students of the Roman campus come from over 100 countries while the teachers come from 20 countries. From January 15 to March 30, non-Italian student coming from a country requiring visa could preregister for 2004-2005academic year (cfr. Diplomatic procedure) Registration : from June 1st – October 15th The documents required for a first registration are as follows:

The registration fees gives the right to follow classes, pass exams, receive the student ID card, access the University Library, reserve a workstation in the satellite libraries. |
